This is we stayed in our trip to the beautiful city of Zagreb. It's a nice and comfortable hotel, plus the food is delicious.
Matija Balent, Sheraton Zagreb’s Executive Chef, took us shopping for some fresh and local groceries at Zagreb’s biggest open air market – Dolac.
A little refreshment in the form of Croatian wine, cheese and prosciutto at the Cheese Bar https://www.facebook.com/Cheese-Bar-299539516838795/
Later on, Chef Matija prepared Zagreb’s main delicacies – cheese & cream, krpice sa zeljem (Quadretti with braised spring cabbage), štrukli (salty cheese strudel) etc. in the a la carte restaurant King Tomislav at Sheraton Zagreb hotel.
After the delicious lunch, we had a tour of Zagreb with Harry – visiting the Cathedral, park Zrinjevac, and the older part of Zagreb – Upper Town (where we climbed up the tower that fires a canon every day at noon!).
Croatia’s biggest coffee & tea producer Franck at their signature café (& the coolest club in town in the evenings) Johann Franck
Cool portrait of @mrs.thebest I did at the coffee
Zagreb’s cemetery Mirogoj, designed by the architect Hermann Bollé. I have to say that this cemetery has one of the best architecture I've ever seen.
